Poltava region enterprises exported goods worth more than $730M in Jan-April

In January-April 2024, enterprises in the Poltava region increased their exports by 47% - to more than USD 730 million.
Filip Pronin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Poltava region's enterprises are active players in foreign trade. They cooperate with partners from 115 countries. In January-April, they exported goods worth more than USD 730 million and imported [goods worth] more than USD 300 million. Compared to last year, the figures rose by 47% and more than 20%, respectively," Pronin wrote.
He noted that the top exports include products from the mining and agricultural sectors. The European Union remains one of Poltava's largest trading partners. This is almost half of the total trade volume.
