Ukraine attracted $85.4B in international aid since war began

First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said this during an hour of questions to the government on Friday, Ukrinform reports.

"As of June 1, the state budget of Ukraine has received USD 85.4 billion since the war began. This month, Ukraine expects to receive EUR 1.9 billion under the Ukraine Facility," Svyrydenko said.

She expressed hope that the fourth review of the program with the IMF will take place in the coming weeks, after which an additional USD 2.2 billion is expected to be allocated.

"The total amount of foreign direct investment attracted was USD 4.25 billion, with the majority of this sum representing reinvestment. However, when considering new investments, the figure was approximately USD 1 billion," Svyrydenko added.

As reported, Ukraine has fulfilled all of its requirements under an IMF program and expects international partners to provide $38 billion in financial support this year.
