PM Shmyhal discusses Ukraine’s needs with World Bank delegation
That’s according to Shmyhal’s posting on social media, Ukrinform reports.
During the meeting, he emphasized that Ukraine appreciates the financial assistance received from its partners, in particular the USA, European Union, and International Monetary Fund.
"We are going through this year confidently. We are working to make the next year equally predictable and stable. The confiscation of Russian assets can be an auxiliary factor," the prime minister said.
Shmyhal reminded that thanks to the use of Russia's sovereign assets immobilized in the West, the G7 nations will provide Ukraine with $50 billion.
According to the prime minister, this is only the first step as the goal is to confiscate all frozen Russian assets.
