Among thermal energy producers, the rate of payments for the natural gas consumed between May 1, 2021 and July 16, 2024 was not uniform but satisfactory.

The relevant statement was made by the press service of Naftogaz Trading, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the data provided by the company, the highest payment rate of 100% was recorded in the Zakarpattia, Ternopil, Poltava, Volyn and Zaporizhzhia regions. The high level of 90.7% was also demonstrated by the Lviv region. In other regions, the payment rate for gas supply services is much lower.

“Timely payments for gas are critically important for ensuring Ukraine’s energy security. This allows us to maintain stable supplies and prepare for the heating season,” Naftogaz Trading noted.

The company mentioned that late payments might cause interruptions in the supply of natural gas and complicate preparations for the winter period.

“Naftogaz Trading urges regions with a low payment rate to actively work to ensure timely payments,” the company stressed.

At the same time, Naftogaz Trading emphasized that gas supply services were provided exclusively to enterprises operating within the Ukrainian-controlled territory.
