Ukrenergo orders emergency power outage schedules in Ukraine

Ukraine's power grid operator Ukrenergo has ordered the introduction of emergency power outage schedules across the country.
This was reported by DTEK Kyivski Rehionalni Elektromerezhi, the electricity provider for the Kyiv region, according to Ukrinform.
"In accordance with Ukrenergo's order, emergency power outages have been introduced. The regular power outage schedules are not in effect," the statement read.
Residents were urged to save electricity to help stabilize the power grid, the post added.
