Ukraine Energy Support Fund receives EUR 3.2M in March

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund received EUR 3.2 million in contributions in March 2026, bringing the total amount of donations to EUR 1.854 billion.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Energy Ministry announced this on Telegram.

"In March, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund received grant contributions from Iceland and Slovenia. The total amount of incoming funds reached EUR 3.2 million," the statement said.

In addition, partners announced new contributions last month, including EUR 57.9 million from the United Kingdom, EUR 10 million from Italy, and EUR 155,000 from the province of Alberta in Canada. Further contributions are also expected: EUR 12.5 million from Canada, EUR 10 million from the European Commission, EUR 5.4 million from Denmark, EUR 4.8 million from Germany, and EUR 1.5 million from Croatia.

Through the Fund's mechanism, contracts worth about EUR 41.7 million were signed in March for the supply of critically needed equipment. This includes equipment for the modernization of substations, power generation, and gas infrastructure – such as pipeline valves, high-voltage electrical equipment, cable products, batteries, as well as materials for restoration work and protective gear for personnel.

Under previously signed contracts, equipment worth nearly EUR 11.5 million was delivered, including diagnostic systems and transformer materials to ensure stable operation of generation facilities and monitoring of energy equipment.

In total, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has already received nearly EUR 1.854 billion in grant funding from 37 foreign donors representing 26 partner countries and three international organizations.

Between December 2025 and February 2026, EUR 602.5 million was raised for the Fund from 16 countries, the European Union, and the private sector.
