EU mobilizes EUR 1B for “Solidarity Lanes” with Ukraine

The European Commission, Czechia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the World Bank Group signed a joint declaration providing for nearly EUR 1 billion for supporting “Solidarity Lanes” on the borders between Ukraine and the EU member states.

United States to provide $25M in winterization assistance to Ukraine

U.S. Representative to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield has announced that the United States, through the U.S. Agency for International Development, will provide $25 million in winterization assistance to help vulnerable people in Ukraine survive the harsh winter.
