Zelensky, Yushchenko talk about peace and elections

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with former Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko on Wednesday evening.

They discussed the social and political situation in the state in the context of early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, the Presidential Administration reported on Twitter.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Viktor Yushchenko. The current and former presidents discussed the social and political situation in the context of snap parliamentary elections and stressed the need to preserve civil peace, calm and unity," the report says.

As Ukrinform reported, Zelensky also met with Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko on Wednesday.
