Arena Lviv among world's eight best stadiums
KYIV, February 15 /UKRINFORM/. The Arena Lviv stadium ranked eighth among the 27 stadiums that were opened in 2011. These are the results of the Stadium 2011 contest conducted from January 11 to February 11 by stadiony.net - a popular Polish Internet portal. The list includes sites with capacity not less than 10,000 seats which have been built "from scratch", opened in 2011 and which have already hosted at least one massive event.
The Ukrainian Arena Lviv polled 8,200 votes and won the honored eighth place between the Juventus Arena and the stadium of Istanbul's Galatasaray.
Not surprisingly, at the competition organized by the Polish site top places went to football stadiums of the country. The first place was won with a big margin by the "amber" Arena in Gdansk, which scored 32 120 credit points. The silver went to the UERO 2012 stadium in Wroclaw, and bronze - club stadium of Warsaw's Legia.
