Ukrainians not injured in Kemerovo shopping mall fire

Ukrainian citizens are not among those killed and injured in a fire at the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping mall in Kemerovo, Russia.

Head of the Consular Service Directorate at the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Vasyl Kyrylych said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

"According to the latest data from a representative of the [Russian] Emergencies Ministry office in the Kemerovo region, there are no Ukrainians among those killed or injured," he said.

At the same time, the official noted that the information was constantly updated.

As reported, a fire broke out at the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping mall in Kemerovo on March 25. Sixty-four people were killed in the tragedy, and more than 40 people sought medical aid.
