Four killed, five in hospital after explosion at former plant in Kyiv

According to the updated information, four persons have been killed in an explosion, which occurred within the territory of a former plant in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district. Five people were taken to hospital.
The relevant statement was made by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Four killed (all men) and five injured (two women and three men) in an explosion within the territory of a former plant in the Darnytskyi district,” Klitschko wrote.
In his words, rescuers continue working at the scene.
Earlier, Kyiv City Military Administration reported that one more victim was remaining trapped under the rubble.
