Twenty people rescued following house explosion in Kyiv

Twenty people were rescued from a 16-story apartment block damaged by the explosion in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district.

"As of 10:30, 20 people were rescued from the house. Five people were injured. Two people were killed," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

Works are ongoing.

As reported, a powerful explosion rocked the capital's apartment block around 04:00. The walls on three floors collapsed and a fire broke out.
