Training grenade leaves one injured at Lutsk post office

That’s according to Channel 24 with reference to the company press service, Ukrinform reports.

"On June 9, an explosion rang out at the Nova Post branch in the city of Lutsk, near the Northern Market. Nova Post has confirmed the incident, stating that a training grenade, which the company’s client purchased online, exploded at the office. It was the said person who was injured. Medics have already provided the person with assistance," Channel 24 reports.

According to the available report, after getting hold of his parcel, the local resident decided to examine on the spot and accidentally engaged the grenade, which led to an explosion while he was holding it.

No one else was injured.

Postal office employees provided first aid to the affected man before ambulance arrived.

The injured refused hospitalization.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a man was killed in a grenade explosion in Lviv region.
