A fabricated promotional video is being spread on YouTube

A promotional video is circulating on YouTube, showing a soldier in the uniform of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) who calls on Ukrainian warriors to join the IDF. He claims that he was allegedly a Ukrainian artilleryman who had just returned from the front and joined the IDF because of the higher salary and the Israeli citizenship.

It is a fake video. The original video can be found on the official TikTok page of the IDF. It shows a military man explaining which phone numbers the IDF reservists should contact for mobilization and their families – for psychological assistance.

The authors of the fabricated promotional video simply added a Ukrainian text and audio track to the original video.

The military man in the video has nothing to do with Ukraine. It is an Israeli blogger, Or Barak.

With the start of active hostilities in the Gaza Strip, Russian propagandists began to spread fake news related to Ukraine and the State of Israel.

Among other things, Russians fabricated a video about Ukrainians allegedly ordering commercials against the aid to Israel.
