Survey: Over 70% of Ukrainians never traveled abroad

. More than 70% of Ukrainians have never traveled abroad, Research & Branding Group director Yevhen Kopatko told the press.

"The main reason for this sad statistics is the financial failure of the Ukrainians," he said.

Nevertheless, Kopatko noted, people go abroad more often, and we can expect that in future the numbers will change.

The expert also added that the most important aspect of work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the Ukrainians, is simplifying visa travels with EU countries.

"We have surveyed the attitude of ordinary citizens to the directions of work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Simplification of visa travels with the EU and assistance in other countries is important to 10% of those surveyed, the protection of migrant workers - 4%, ties with Russia - 4%, ties with the CIS - 3%, joining the Schengen zone - 4%," Kopatko said.
