Briefing: "Psychological assistance to victims of military operations"

For reference. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Andriy Omelchenko founded the "Atlant" support center. The main activity of the center is the training of mobile groups for psychological assistance to military personnel and victims of military operations throughout Ukraine. The center has trained more than 300 counselors in dealing with loss, phobias, treatment and prevention of PTSD. Such groups are already working in 6 cities: Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Sumy, as well as in Great Britain. Periodically, volunteers go to the front lines to provide psychological assistance to soldiers who are directly involved in hostilities. We have already conducted more than 100 trips to military units, hospitals and places of settlement of internally displaced persons and conducted thousands of successful consultations that helped people survive the horrors of war and saved them from psychological consequences.
