New regulations for transporting goods to ATO zone come into effect

Regulations for transporting goods through the contact line in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas have come into force.

Regulations were approved by government’s resolution as of March 1, No. 99, and published in the government’s official newspaper Uriadovy Kurier on March 4.

“Regulations determine the legal procedure for transporting goods and apply to individuals and business entities conducting such transportation. The document includes 43 clauses that envisage the issue of checkpoints and road corridors; transporting goods by individuals and business entities; transporting goods by rail transport; transporting humanitarian cargo to temporarily occupied territories etc,” reads the document.

The resolution takes effect 10 days after publication.
