Meeting of Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas takes place in Minsk today
According to Iryna Gerashchenko, the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group, a consideration of the verification results of the lists to unblock the process of releasing hostages will be one of the main issues, Ukrinform reports.
"On May 15, a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group will be held in Minsk, and it will be very important for us as Ukraine insists that information on the verification procedure should be heard first of all in both the humanitarian subgroup and the Trilateral Contact Group," Gerashchenko told reporters on May 11.
She said that 128 citizens of Ukraine were still held hostages in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
However, the other party submitted lists of more than 600 people demanding their release to unblock the process of releasing hostages.
