Lithuanian President Grybauskaite coming to Ukraine
KYIV, May 11 /UKRINFORM/. President Viktor Yanukovych will on Friday, May 11, meet President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, which will be in Ukraine on a working visit.
As UKRINFORM learned from the president's press office, the meeting will start at 07.00 p.m. and will be held behind closed.
A reminder that after postponing the Yalta Summit of Central European States for an indefinite period, four presidents have not abandoned the intention to come to Ukraine. These, in particular, are the presidents of Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania and Moldova.
Before agreeing to visit Ukraine, President Dalia Grybauskaite insisted on having a meeting with the jailed former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. The State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine considered the request of the Lithuanian side and agreed to the meeting to be held on Friday, May 11.
