Azarov says Bloodhound Gang should be banned from entering Ukraine forever
KYIV, August 12 /Ukrinform/. The U.S. rock band Bloodhound Gang should be banned from entering Ukraine forever.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov wrote this on his Facebook page on Friday, while commenting on the desecration of national symbols by the U.S. rock band Bloodhound Gang.
"I believe this is not only outrageous, but also a sign of extremely low culture, or the lack of culture of artists and those who invited them to a concert," Azarov said.
He said that the Culture Ministry should soon publish a document that strictly regulates the unacceptability of such actions at public events and that law enforcement agencies must act in accordance with the law. "These people should be banned from entering Ukraine forever," Azarov wrote.
As reported, the bass guitarist of the U.S. band Bloodhound Gang apparently urinated on a Ukrainian flag during a concert in Kyiv on July 30, and earlier, in Odesa, he stuffed a Russian flag down his pants and pulled it through his legs.
Pechersk district department of police in Kyiv launched criminal proceedings on the desecration of Ukraine's national flag by the members of the U.S. rock band Bloodhound Gang.
