Yanukovych, Putin discuss trade economic relations 'comprehensively'
KYIV, November 11 /Ukrinform/. Viktor Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Saturday "comprehensively" discussed trade and economic relations between the two countries, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters in Yekaterinburg on Monday, according to RIA Novosti.
"On Saturday there was a short working visit of President of Ukraine Yanukovych to Moscow, where he held talks with Putin. They comprehensively discussed trade and economic relations between Russia and Ukraine," he said.
As Ukrinform reported citing the press office of the Ukrainian president, Viktor Yanukovych's working visit to Russia had been scheduled for Saturday. During a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the heads of state were expected to discussed trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Russia ahead of the Eastern Partnership Summit, which will be held in late November in Vilnius.
