Lukashenko: Ukraine will be united, integral
The Belarusian leader told this to reporters after the inauguration, according to Ukrinform.
"Ukraine should agree with everyone - and also Russia. Because so our lives are today," Lukashenko said.
Lukashenko believes that currently it is primarily important that Ukrainians come out of the crisis: "so that my dear people get out of this situation." He expressed the belief that the situation in Ukraine is not catastrophic – it’s rather heated up.
"So we should just calm down and in the new period - after the presidential elections - stabilize the situation. Ukrainians are very smart people and they will cope with the problems ... Ukraine should be a united and integral state and it will be," the President of Belarus said.
