Deputy Secretary General of UN to hold talks in Kyiv and visit Donbas

On November 2, the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O'Brien will pay an official visit to Ukraine.
The UN News Center reports he intends to meet government officials, workers of humanitarian organizations and diplomatic corps. His schedule for the visit includes a trip to eastern Ukraine and meetings with internally displaced persons.
"Stephen O'Brien is going to visit areas in eastern Ukraine in order to personally monitor the humanitarian situation faced by people who have been affected by the crisis," a statement said regarding the impending visit which will end on November 4.
