Germany officially changes its ambassador to Ukraine

August 1, newly appointed German Ambassador to Ukraine Ernst Wolfgang Reichel presented the copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine for European Integration Olena Zerkal.
This is announced on the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
At the meeting, the Ambassador and the Deputy Foreign Minister noted the high level of bilateral Ukrainian-German relations and the mutual desire to further intensify them. The sides also discussed regional problems.
Ernst Wolfgang Reichel earlier worked as the commissioner of the German Foreign Ministry for the southeastern Europe, Turkey and the countries of the European Free Trade Association.
