Ukraine opens Honorary Consulate in Sicily

Ukraine has opened its Honorary Consulate in Sicily, Italy.
The newly formed diplomatic institution was headed by a lawyer, a prosecutor of the Italian Republic and a great friend of Ukraine, Domenico Platanias, who always contributed to the development of bilateral relations between Sicily and Ukraine.
During the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Sicily, a large number of the regional and local authorities, military officers, representatives of clergy and business, and the Ukrainian community gathered, indicating significant prospects for economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between Ukraine and Sicily.
