President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the near future will submit to the parliament a bill on the termination of certain clauses of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between Ukraine and Russia.
Chairman of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Faction, Artur Herasymov, stated this in his speech at the parliament’s sitting on April 17, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The President of Ukraine in the near future will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the termination of certain clauses of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. The termination of the Treaty will be another proof of Ukraine's irreversible path to the West and full escape from the Kremlin's influence,” he said.
