MP from UKROP party Shevchenko submits documents to CEC

MP Oleksandr Shevchenko has submitted documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC) to register as a candidate for presidential elections, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
Shevchenko submitted documents following the 16th congress of the Ukrainian Association of Patriots –UKROP party on Thursday, where he was nominated as a candidate for president from the political force.
As reported, the election campaign began in Ukraine on December 31. Presidential elections are scheduled for March 31, 2019.
