Ukraine, Israel ready to continue dialogue at all levels – Foreign Ministry

Ukraine and Israel are ready to continue the dialogue at all levels in the near future.

This was discussed during the regular round of the Ukrainian-Israeli expanded political consultations at the Israeli Foreign Ministry on April 29, 2019, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

"During the consultations, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors. The sides confirmed the readiness to continue in the near future the dialogue at all levels, as well as in the format of inter-agency consultations," the statement reads.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the parties emphasized the importance to complete the internal procedures for ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel, signed on January 21, 2019.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations. They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and on current issues of the international agenda.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya.
