Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksandr Danyliuk has said he is interested in the prospect of taking up the post of the country's prime minister.
He stated this in an interview with the Television News Service (TSN) on the 1+1 TV channel.
When asked by a journalist if he is interested in the post of prime minister in the future, Danyliuk said: "I won't lie that I'm not interested in it."
He also expressed disagreement with the fact that the NSDC secretary's post is considered a political exile.
"When did we have an exile? I spoke about this post with [former Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko back in 2014. We spoke about it in 2014, but this did not happen for political reasons."
"I don't like the Presidential Administration as a place of work. I will say honestly that I don't really like it," Danyliuk added.
