Volker: We are waiting for President Zelensky in the United States

 “No conditions have been put forward for holding a meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States. The invitation was made, President Trump confirmed this to President Zelensky this Thursday, and we are waiting for President Zelensky in the United States,” U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker said at a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As noted, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the United States to Ukraine William Taylor and other representatives of the American side elaborate together with the team of the President of Ukraine the agenda of the upcoming meeting and coordinate the work schedules of the leaders of both countries.

“At present, we don’t know which dates may be convenient for both presidents, but Ambassador Taylor is working on it now. I think that the date will become known soon,” Volker said.
