Ukrainian president meets with Ecumenical Patriarch in Istanbul

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has begun a meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
The meeting is to last for an hour, and then lunch will be given on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarch in honor of the president's visit.
Zelensky will also visit the Church of St. George located on the territory of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
After that, the president will visit Baykar Aerospace and Defense and get acquainted with the company's production facilities and communicate with Ukrainian pilots who are undergoing training at the enterprise.
Zelensky is on a visit to Turkey on August 7-8.
