As reported, the UK stopped being a member of the European Union (EU) after 23:00 GMT on January 31, 2020.
Earlier, British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons said in a video address that the United Kingdom will remain good friend and strong partner of Ukraine after the country leaves the European Union as a result of Brexit.
“The UK will be just as committed to Ukraine’s territorial integrity and to its sovereignty and will continue to work a lot to achieve strong economic growth, strong independent country,” she noted.
