PM Honcharuk: Date of pension indexation still undecided

Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has stated that the government has not yet decided on the date of pension indexation in the current year.
"According to the law, we take a decision within a year, and there is no clear period for it to be taken, when the [pension] indexation should take place. This decision is still under development," the prime minister said at a briefing on March 2, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
As reported, on March 1, 2019, the automatic pension indexation was carried out for more than 10 million retired persons, an average increase in payment totaled UAH 255.
