Parliament dismisses Prystaiko from position of Vice Prime Minister for European Integration

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a resolution on dismissal of Vadym Prystaiko from the position of Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, 296 MPs voted for the corresponding draft No. 3583.

On June 3, the Cabinet of Ministers registered in the Verkhovna Rada draft resolutions on the dismissal of Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko and the appointment of Olha Stefanishyna to this post.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Servant of the People faction Yevhenia Kravchuk said that the political force was aware of the plans to appoint Vadym Prystaiko as Ukraine's Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Vadym Prystaiko served as Ukraine's Ambassador to Canada, Deputy Foreign Minister, and headed Ukraine's Mission to NATO.

In May 2019, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, on August 29 – the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

On March 4, 2020, Vadym Prystaiko was appointed as Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
