Zelensky appoints new head of Foreign Intelligence Service

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Valeriy Yevdokymov as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service and appointed Valeriy Kondratiuk in his place.

The decrees to that effect, No. 211/2020 and No. 212/2020, have been published on the website of the head of state.

On September 20, 2019, Zelensky appointed Yevdokymov head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

From March 2014 to July 2015, Kondratiuk worked as head of the counterintelligence department at Ukraine's SBU Security Service.

From July 2015 to October 2016, he headed the main intelligence directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

From October 2015 to February 2019, he served as deputy head of the Presidential Administration.
