Coordination Council discusses public administration reform strategy
Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov wrote this on Facebook.
"The eighteenth meeting of the Coordination Council for Public Administration Reform took place on July 6. Members of the Coordination Council and invited participants discussed the implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy until 2021, progress in reforming ministries, selection and appointment of reform experts, and remuneration of civil servants,” he wrote.
The minister noted that the meeting was held in the format of a video conference. MPs, representatives of the Accounting Chamber, ministries, central executive government bodies, NGOs, as well as European experts from the SIGMA Program and the EU project EU4PAR took part in the meeting, chaired by Nemchinov.
As reported, the government approved the Strategy for Public Administration Reform in Ukraine in February 2019 and extended its implementation until 2021.
As expected, the implementation of the strategy is aimed at "more efficient and accountable public administration system that works in the public interest, ensures the sustainable development of the country and provides quality services."
