Ukraine hopes for Slovakia's accession to Crimean Platform
"I and Martin Klus, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, discussed the achievements and ideas for bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation between our countries in multilateral format. I also held meetings with well-known Slovak political scientists: Director of the Institute for Public Affairs Grigorij Mesežnikov and Director of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association Alexander Duleba... We touched upon the Crimean issue and the whole range of consequences of the occupation. I told about our initiative to create the Crimean Platform, and I hope that Slovakia will join its activities after the platform is launched," Dzheppar posted on Facebook.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also held a number of meetings and events as part of the 15th GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum.
In particular, Emine Dzheppar discussed with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi cooperation within international organizations and the importance of granting Ukraine an observer status in the Turkic Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
