Cabinet of Ministers endorses amendments to air service agreement with Thailand
"Today, the Government has endorsed a draft protocol on the introduction of amendments and annexes to the air service agreement with Thailand and authorized the head of the State Aviation Administration to sign them on behalf of the Ukrainian side," Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii announced on Wednesday, the Ministry’s press service informed.
The protocol amends Article 6 of the agreement on increasing the number of designated airlines from one to several on each side and Article 12 of the agreement on providing an opportunity to conclude commercial agreements between designated airlines of Ukraine, Thailand, and third countries.
In addition, the new version of Article 14 of the agreement allows the aviation agencies of both countries to move from the procedure for approving tariffs to the procedure for their monitoring. The agreement also includes new articles on flight safety and competition protection.
As reported, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine works on the full digitalization of all processes and the creation of a unified smart transportation system.
