It is noted that Sandu thanked President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky for the greetings. The parties discussed the current situation in the Republic of Moldova and the need for close cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, Sandu also stressed the importance of developing a strategic partnership between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.

"We have many common problems, as well as many opportunities that we can realize together. We must bring Moldova out of isolation and immediately thaw bilateral relations with Ukraine. At the same time, we discussed the synchronization of activities in the context of the European integration process," Sandu said.
