Government endorses visa-free agreement with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The relevant resolution was adopted without discussion at a government meeting on April 7, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"To approve the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on mutual abolition of visa requirements, which was concluded in London on November 25, 2020," the document reads.
According to an explanatory note, the adoption of the resolution will allow the Ukrainian side to perform the internal procedures required for the entry into force of the Agreement.
According to paragraph 1 of Article 12 of the Agreement, it shall enter into force on the 30th day after the date of the receipt of the last written notification through diplomatic channels informing the completion of domestic legal procedures.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Government of Ukraine at its meeting on October 9, 2020 approved a draft agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on mutual abolition of visa requirements. The document provides for the mutual abolition of visa requirements for visits of citizens of Ukraine and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines of up to 90 days in 180‑day period.
