Poland’s Deputy PM to visit Ukraine to talk about economic cooperation
He will hold talks with representatives of the Ukrainian government and take part in a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology of Poland.
“As part of the one-day visit, the Vice Prime Minister will meet with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko, and will also take part in the plenary meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation," the report reads.
In addition, he will meet with representatives of Ukrainian enterprises.
The ministry said that the main topics of the talks would be Ukrainian-Polish trade and investment cooperation, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economic situation in both countries, obstacles to the development of Polish investment in Ukraine, as well as the prospects for Ukraine's economic cooperation with the EU.
As a reminder, the previous meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in 2017.
