The Russian-controlled armed formations in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (CADLR) handed over prisoner exchange lists to Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reports, this was announced by a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, a member of the humanitarian subgroup Tetiana Ivanova on the air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.

At the same time, she noted that the Ukrainian side had submitted the lists for exchange six months ago.

"The Ukrainian side handed over the lists for prisoner exchange six months ago, or even earlier. All this time, Ukraine has insisted that we be given lists by CADLR in a mirror way. These lists were not submitted for a long time, and we received those lists in April," Ivanova said.

According to her, the lists are being currently specified.

As reported, according to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova, 251 Ukrainians are held captive by the militants in the temporarily occupied territories.

At the same time, as the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG stated, Russia and Russian-controlled militants are blocking the process of prisoner exchange.

However, the "all for all" exchange was one of the agreements reached at the summit of the Normandy format leaders in Paris on December 9, 2019.
