Ukrainian, Tajik foreign ministers sign two-year cooperation program
According to the report, the program was signed during a virtual meeting between the two foreign ministers.
"The ministers signed the program for cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2022, which is designed to bring cooperation between the foreign ministries to a qualitatively new level," the report reads.
It notes that both parties positively noted the intensification of relations between Ukraine and Tajikistan and discussed preparations for holding a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Dushanbe this year.
Muhriddin emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Ukrainian side in the field of hydropower and noted the high quality of Ukrainian equipment.
Kuleba, in turn, assured his counterpart of Ukraine's readiness to implement mutually beneficial projects in this area and to continue to develop economic cooperation and trade between the two countries.
The diplomats also exchanged invitations to pay working visits. Kuleba confirmed the invitation to the top leadership of the Republic of Tajikistan to take part in events marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
