Ukrainians now allowed to cross into France – Kuleba
The foreign minister delivered the news via Twitter on Friday, Ukrinform reports.
"Now it’s official: visa-free travel with France is in place, again! The French government has opened entry for all types of travel for Ukrainians in accordance with the EU Council recommendation," the statement said.
The top diplomat noted that a vaccination certificate or a fresh negative test is required at the crossing point. Detailed entry conditions can be found on the interactive map released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, on July 21, the Slovak Republic reopened its borders for vaccinated Ukrainian nationals.
Earlier today, Ukrinform wrote Ukrainian citizens had been allowed to enter Sweden from July 26, according to a statement posted on the website of the Swedish government.
Entry will be allowed for persons who received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine more than 14 days prior to arrival.
The list of vaccines approved by Sweden includes Comirnaty (BioNtech Tozinameran), Spikevax (Moderna), Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca), Janssen, AstraZeneca/SKBio, Covishield (Serum Institute of India), BIBP/Sinopharm, and CoronaVac.
On July 15, the Council of the European Union added Ukraine to the list of countries for which coronavirus-related travel restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU should be lifted.
