Nord Stream 2 to be used against entire Europe – PM Shmyhal

Nord Stream 2 is an element of a hybrid war, a hybrid attack on Ukraine that will sooner or later be used against Ukraine and against the whole of Europe.

That’s according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal who spoke at a discussion panel within a forum in the Polish city of Karpacz.

Of course, Nord Stream 2 is about Ukraine, and I personally consider it also one of the types of hybrid war and hybrid attack on Ukraine, Poland, and Europe. In particular, this is about the fact that this instrument of hybrid war will sooner or later be used against Europe, not only against Ukraine and Poland. This is also a fact that is difficult to argue with,” Shmyhal said.

He noted that working jointly for the sake of regional security is extremely important not only for overcoming the crisis associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, but also for the successful and safe development of the entire region.

As reported by Ukrinform, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a discussion panel within an international forum in the Polish city of Karpacz spoke about scenarios for overcoming the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In particular, he referred to numerous cyberattacks as elements of Russia’s hybrid war against Ukraine.

Denys Shmyhal received a special award dedicated to Ukrainian society within the framework of the XXX Economic Forum in Karpacz.

The event was also attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša.
