Combating Russian propaganda and disinformation becomes systematic

This is due to the launch of special governmental agencies, the Center for Strategic Communications under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy and the Center for Combating Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, reports Ukrinform.

“The very fact that these agencies have been created already shows that combating disinformation has become more systematic. It is no longer taking place at the level of isolated ministries, civil society organizations, individual politicians who are trying to do something, there is a certain single movement,” said Svitlana Slipchenko on Dom TV channel.

She clarified that the Center for Strategic Communications constantly monitors how often disinformation appears in the pro-Russian media, in the information field of Ukraine, what statements and narratives are heard in the Russian media, and refutes them.

The next objective, she believes, is to amplify the voices of both Centers for the target audience—for Ukrainians.
