Ukrainian parliament speaker, Chinese ambassador discuss inter-parliamentary cooperation

Stefanchuk announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Together with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, we discussed the improvement of inter-parliamentary cooperation, cooperation at the level of foreign affairs committees, friendship groups of legislative bodies of the two countries, and trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and China," he said.

He said that China has become Ukraine's largest trading partner. At the same time, he said he was convinced that cooperation has the potential for development and requires significant intensification.

Stefanchuk also said that Ukraine highly values its strategic partnership with the People's Republic of China, and the course for its comprehensive development remains a priority for Ukraine.
