Zelensky: Ukraine–Turkey relations have great potential

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish people on the 98th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey and expressed confidence in the great potential of the development of Ukraine–Turkey relations.
“Congratulations to my friend Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Turkish people on the 98th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey. I highly appreciate the strategic partnership of our states. I am convinced that Ukraine–Turkey relations have great potential. I wish Turkey peace and prosperity,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.
Turkey celebrates the Republic Day on October 29. In 1923, 98 years ago, the first president, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, delivered a speech on the proclamation of the Republic.
