Zelensky, UK’s Johnson discuss defense cooperation

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky  concluded the first day of his visit to the UN COP 26 Conference on Climate Change in Glasgow by discussing military and defense cooperation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

That’s according to Zelensky’s press service, Ukrinform reports.

"During the conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, important issues of bilateral cooperation, military-defense cooperation, European and world agenda were raised," the statement said.

Also on Monday, Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett, Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, Chancellor of Austria Alexander Schallenberg and President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló.

"The heads of state and government spoke about important aspects of bilateral cooperation between the countries, as well as global and regional challenges related to climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis and the security situation in Europe, including eastern Ukraine, and the world," the report reads.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on November 1, President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed a climate conference in Glasgow.
