Ukraine to take part in conference of WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft presidential order on the composition of the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the Ninth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
According to Ukrinform, such a decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday, November 3.
According to the explanatory note to the document, Ukraine's participation in the Ninth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control will provide an opportunity to discuss issues related to the protection of public health from the harmful effects of tobacco products, progress in implementing the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, and to receive updated information on issues to be considered on the agenda of the Conference of the Parties.
The Ninth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control will be held virtually on November 8-13, 2021.
